RSH 39 -- America's Statuesque Horror (7.10.2020)

Recorded July 8, 2020. Adam and Peter talk about the removal of statues honoring violent colonizers, including Christopher Columbus, and how such statues serve as symbols of white supremacy and as forms of myth-making to sanitize American imperialism. They also ruthlessly trash the Hamilton play and critique the Harpers letter on "free speech" (i.e., elite media people and academics complaining that college kids don't like them).
